It make sense that it is a permissions issue and I was logged in as a
Windows Administrator when I ran the install. So I went back and looked
at the folder properties and they were set as read only which
considering I can write files to those folders a little
I am quite sure that the problematic tag did not include any quotation
mark but only the German umlaut ü (in Frühlingssonate). I changed that
to Fruehlingssonate and it worked. But to be sure I will check it
tonight when I am at home.

I had to find the settings file here :-
/var/lib/squeezecenter/prefs/plugin/weathertime.prefs
and put the city id
The slimnas functions.in refers to
{$config['slimserver']['rootfolder']}/squeezecenter/slimserver.pl but
there is nothing in the squeezecenter directory, so i removed the
directory and made a symlink to the current squeezecenter install dir.

Those are my principles, and if you don't like them... well, I have

When I end my sirius session on my SB3 and turn SB off, I am not able to
turn it on again with the remote. I must go back to squeeze center on my
MAC and add sirius to my playlist. This seems very odd. Can anyone shed
some light on this?

I ran into a snag with my setup - the external usb drive that I was
going to use apparently doesn't work with Linux for some reason. At
least I couldn't find a driver for linux on their website (rocketfish)
and, as near as I can tell, it didn't mount anywhere.

I cannot play BBC Podcasts on my SB3 or softsqueeze.
I get all BBC stuff except podcasts.
Also, Wiki Radio and Virgin dont work although they are listed in
AlienBBC.
You get the program listing and everything, just the program times
out.
