Here's the log.
What I did:
1. Empty the logfile (with SSOTS)
2. Set logging for CDplayer to debugging
3. Entered a CD
4. Clicked CD player in the Extra menu of Squeezecenter.
The version of CDplayer is 1.07beta1_7.3
The plugin should have parsed the CD Table of contents unless the user
id which runs Squeezecenter has no access to /dev/sg18.
Some systems have an audio or cdrom group which is used to prevent
non member accessing cdrom devices.
Can you also check this point - what is the userid which
I have open port 9000 and 9090, but I still get either unexpected error
or unknownhost exception.
In the squeezeaddress I enter 192.168.1.105 which is the ip-address of
my server. I have also tried with http://192.168.1.105.
Is there some kind of debugging I could turn on to find out where it

I upgraded to 7.3.3 yesterday and 0.9 of iPlayer yesterday.
Since then I get failed to parse on all the LISTEN LIVE stations on
the iPlayer.
When I check the version of iPlayer on the Boom it shows 0.4 though,
although this may be a poissant rouge (i.e. maybe the version number
just didn't get
If the player menu shows 0.4 then you may have two versions installed in
different places. I suggest you remove all versions and prove that you
can't see the plugin at all (in the player menu or web page), then
reinstall.
That message normally occurs when the server can't fetch the xml files
Additional info: I just noticed that in the SC menu
Advanced/File-types, all files behind CD player are disabled (cannot be
changed). Don't know if that is critical in this phase?
It is not critical but it hints at permissions/installation issues.

logged in all the time and change of permissions will only take effect
on a new login.

I don't think there is AAC support on ReadyNas - the BBC streams need to
be transcoded and I think the ReadyNas is not powerful enough to do it.
Check WebUI Settings/FileTypes/ AAC - if they are all greyed out then
there is no support.

start processes and redirect output.
Can you test the command
exec -?
I would expect a response like

I think on 0.4 you were listening to the MP3 streams not the AAC. The
main point to recent updates to iPlayer was to get access to the better
quality AAC streams.
To listen to the live stations you do not need iPlayer - just use the
WMA URls as provided by menu Internet Radio/ More Radio/ BBC

Over the past couple of days I've done a clean install of Mac OS Snow
Leopard, and as a result am now using the latest nightly 7.3.4.
It appears that your repository doesn't work any more? I'm using:

Generally it is hard to run the commands manually with the correct set
of environment variables which only happen after a login. Using su is
not enough - you have to login as the user which runs Sc.

0.7 uses WMA for the live streams, 0.9 uses FlashAAC which are
potentially better quality but may take longer to start up due to
additional transcoding.
Favorite issues for 0.9 should be fixed with 7.4 when it is released.

I would personally prefer if we had the option to choose streams in
future versions - since I generally listen to talk stations (Five Live
and Sports Extra) the super fast startup time is of much greater value
than slightly better audio quality. Of course, those that listen
it says error sending update to lastfm

The start up time for trascoding is slower on a windows server than a
linux one - so suspect you are using windows?
If you want to use wma streams for live streaming, then you could also
use the BBC streams which are part of the Other radio streams menus

I think the current iTunes Import logic will try to replace
X:/zz-itunes/iTunes%20Music/ with the Music path in SqueezeCenter
setting you have entered. So if the music is stored in
X:/zz-itunes/Music*
Lets first make sure the CLI port is up and reachable by telneting to it
from a command prompt:
telnet 192.168.1.105 9090
then issue the command:
players 0 999
you should see a response of the list of players.
Note: When using Vista I had to enable the telnet client:

So the Itunes Music is very wrong!

There is a currently a bug in FW 7330, which prevents the applet from
running (https://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=13776).
As long as this isn't fixed, follow these steps:
- upload applet as usual
- download

This should leave a dos window up. When you get the error do not close
the window but lets look at the dos window to see if any exceptions are
showing up there.

Ignuz appears to generate its own custom-convert.conf with entries for
every player, identified by MAC address, to initiate the DSP stage.
However, there's no entry for AAC to FLAC, so the iPlayer feed doesn't
