My SB3 won't scrobble since 7.4.x (synology package). I've been using it for over a year now and didn't have any problems. Scrobbling to Last.fm has always worked fine. Finding it pretty hard to find clear info on the latest status of Last.fm streaming in Squeezebox Server (using 7.5.0) and this thread seems to come closest to explaining it - have they restricted access to the Last.fm streaming functionality to certain geographies? I'm in Ireland and it stopped working a number of months back and I didn't get a chance to look into it. Since upgrading to 7.4 and then 7.5.0 I haven't been able to find it anywhere in the menus (though scrobbling still works). Is it worth going through the steps listed in this thread to try get this workaround going or is it simply not going to work (as appears to be the case in New Zealand)? Thanks James, Good to hear it working again. Only I have noticd that it no longer appears in the Internet Radio section of the Duet Controller. I have looked through and cannot find it anywhere. On the Web interface it is in the Internet Radio section. Perhaps we need to make it an App and place it in My Apps. I am speakingout of turn as I do not know what the issues with doing this would be. Hi James: I tried to install the SqueezeScrobbler automatically by the plugin menu of the Squeezebox Server on a ReadyNAS Duo / SqueezeboxServer7.4.1. After checking the box to install the plugin SqueezeScrobbler 1.2.7. and a first restart of the Squeezebox Server, I cant access any more in the plugin section of the Squeezebox Server. The Squeezbox Server wants to be restarted again and againÂ….. Whats wrong with the new version of the plugin? How to get out of the restart server deadlock? Hi Craig, you're welcome - and yes, you're also welcome to add my patch to the official SqueezeScrobbler, but please look it through: it was written late at night and mostly by trial and error without much understanding of what was really going on. One issue I've noted is that SoftSqueeze always stops after one track - it may have to do with the lack of progress bar and track length information. Hardware squeezeboxes work fine. Hi, Excited to read this post. Unfortunately, not happening here. I am running 7.4 and as you probably know, there are a few changes in this version. Including the My Apps folder. The folder is now c:\program files\squeezebox not squeezecenter. Using the extension installer, it says that it is installed. There is an Audioscrobbler folder in server\slim\plugin but no squeezescrobbler anywhere, which is odd. The squeezescrobbler appears as an installed plugin in the plugins tab. Lastfm shows in the Internet Radio list. But... If I click on the Lastfm icon under internet radio, it just sits there loading forever. On the Duet remote, lastfm does not show up at all. Can I assume that all other people here who have had the fortune to get the plugin running are using a previous version of squeezecenter (or as Logitech call it now Squeezebox Server)? Any tips on getting this plugin going with 7.4? Just updated and made the recommended change to my player settings and all works perfectly again. Thanks, found it! It worked, but only for 3 tracks. My free 30 tracks were used. I tried a new account but I could not connect. Obviously I changed the settings.I suppose the MAC-address of my player was recognized. Hi all, pleased to announce a new version of SqueezeScrobbler that restores the LastFM radio functionality (for now at least). Thanks to David Sibai who pointed out what the problem was. Please note that I have found 'direct streaming' to your player needs to be disabled for the plugin to work. I do not know why this is, as I don't think it was required before? Last.fm looks alright over here (Synology 106 + latest Squeezecenter), it does everything, only no sound, no streaming.
