copied my master floppy disk to improve matters and as things didn't improve I
assumed my master disk was faulty; but I now realize my master floppy is ok.

When I remove Qubide everything works fine using the floppy disk to boot up.
when reconnect Qubide it starts normal routine but when it restart with Smsq,
it stops at the first dot of the initialization dot. I have another hard disk
and it is the same with that.

I have attempted to unplug a couple of items and clean and reinsert them on the
SGC. I switched the machine on and I got the tweed display and a message that
the real time was at fault, the hard drive and cdrom followed by the dots and
then the screen goes blank.

I have a problem wih my Aurora, with unreliable starting when I switch it
on. I have located the problem is in the ATX power unit.
I started it about three weeks ago and left it switched on permantly, just
turning the monitor off when not using it, but it did get switched off

I have been following the mail with spcial interest as I have had unzip
problems for a while.
I found suddenly ACP Archivers would not unzip.
It did all the actions but there was no unzipped file.
I have had to unzip from the command line using:- data_use
My machine has been doing the high flashing rate occasionly for some time now,
but when start to flash quickly I tap the board lightly, and it goes back to
normal.
I just put it down to a faulty connection somewhere.
The snag is I have to leave the cover off.
