What hardware and operating system are you using? Is it QPC2 and SMSQ/E or a black box QL. If it's the former then I've had a similar problem with anonymous error messages from Archive or Abacus in the past. It turns out that it is to do with 'excessive' amounts of PC memory being allocated

Quite right and apologies. I am running this on QPC2, my Aurora machine does not give this problem. Incidentally, I have found that Abacus does work with 9Mb of memory but that is because I am only using 16MB total. The only program I use extensively is Archive because I have a program that
