Has anyone out there got the top secret list of configuration offsets for the MasterSpy editor executable? I've wasted over an hour trying to change the size of the primary console, but I don't seem to be hitting the right bytes to poke. It's not just a question of overwriting the CON_

OK, I've found secret offsets 167 168, which set the number of rows and columns. The CON definition appears to be a Guardian window for the pointer environment. What I can't find is any way to set the position of the MasterSpy window relative to the Guardian. My manual for this very nice

This morning at 10:50 GMT the latest version of the driver, running under a QDOS JM ROM, successfully loaded a file into the MasterSpy editor without crashing. This issue has been bugging me for days, but was finally traced to some errant mode swapping code that allowed an IOSS retry to happen

Yes, that's the one. You also need some circuitry to translate RS232 to TTL levels. A MAX232 chip and a handful of capacitors is what the Ser-USB prototype uses to do this. If you search on eBay you can often find ready-made RS232/TTL converter modules intended for programming satellite TV

I am looking at buying the ISP1160 chips and doing a little PCB that has the USBWiz and TTL level in/out for a short run - would probably not cost much more than the retail price of a USBWiz board to do. I'm just checking it out - no promises, but I am thinking other computers may want/need the
