Hi Peter, Maybe! My original intent was just to explore the qxl.win file. Then it got updated to extract files. I never intended it to do any updating on the grounds that a small error in my code could destroy someone's work. However, if and when I get time, I will look into it. Cheers,

I have only sniffed at WXQT2 but ran into problems. It doesn't let me choose a DOS directory. It does that to me too if I try to select from a file selection menu. But if I manually type in the DOS (well, Windows) directory in the Options window it seems to work. Dilwyn

during Q68 development, I'm using Jonathan Hudson's WXQT2 to access QXL.WIN container files under Linux/Windows. I experienced problems when writing "large" container files over 8 or 16 MB. Is this a known problem? Are there alternatives to WXQT2, i.e. other graphical frontends to exchange
