I'd be pleased to lend a friendly hand. I've sent my private email address
off-list.
By the way, what's your contacts name? His address seems to be a general
business contact address.

Not sure if I'm talking the same subject here, but Jonathan Dent
created a little hack to change the main sprite in
In a region of the universe visited by my cousin Arthur (while hitchhiking),
they had a saying which went something like:
Stick a Babel fish in a man's printer and it'll go on translating fonts

Of course it may have lost some meaning in the translation ;-)
I got 1 file Gc249.bin size 65,536 packed 35,169 also with WinZip so seems

the fact that I have to hunt for the disc means I never use it either - C68

Hi Ian
Up till RS232C your argument was right but since RS232D the function of pin
RTS
is either Request To Send (CA) or Ready For Receiving (CJ). They left the
name
of the pin RTS to confuse everybody (me included but not Tony ;) By

Hi
The dual function of pin 4 is not confusing if you know about it but there
is
still a lot of literature about which is based on RS232c where the CA
function
was the only possibility. The name RTS is imho better suited to CA.

One for the FAQ list I suppose. I'm making progress but it'll be a while

Putting a disk in flp2_ and none in flp1_ then trying to read

working.
There is a command in the Goldcard to set the step rate which
has to be set for some drives and causes them to rattle when
not right. I don't have a manual to
