I used a Gold card with Qubide for some years and found that some QLs
would not work with this combination but all worked OK with Trump card
Qubide. Never did find out why, luckily had many QLs picked up from boot

Advice wanted
Have a compact flash adaptor, no problems under SMSQ/E on my Q40,
using a 32mb Verbatim card, bought another 32mb maxell card today,
cannot partion it using MKpart, but works OK in my Kodak
camera, does anyone know if there is a problem with some brands?

This happened to me at a Bristol workshop; fortunately Stuart H. was
on hand to explain the weird behaviour (system wouldn't boot with new
SGC, SGC worked in another system, system WOULD boot with GC!).
