Thanks especially for this sentence in the QPTR manual (that made it in a 
couple of releases ago)

which kind of was a revelation when I stumbled across it - That is, apparently, 
not documented anywhere else and gave an explanation why one of my drivers

There was one include file missing from the sources on the website 
(qptr_keys), it's in them now (redownload the source zip file).


Apart from that, qptr now uses the keys (include) files from the smsqe 
sources, as mentioned in the readme file.


Nothing else should be necessary. I do not have the additional programs, 
or if I do, I don't know where.


But if you do, yes, please make them available!

are you willing to further maintain the documents?

Two issues came to my mind that are present in newer PTR/WMAN versions and not 
covered in the documents anywhere yet  (Some people will never be satisfied… ;) 
):
There’s still some mentioning here and there that jobs that don’t have their 
windows as topmost in the pile and try to output to the screen will be 
suspended - With Marcel’s PE_BGON and PE_BGOFF changes this „feature“ can at 
least be switched off in WMAN2.
According to Marcel (and my tests) IOP.SPRY is not implemented on GD2 
high-color screens.

Maybe you want to mention this should you intend to produce a future version.

OK, I did add the section on background I/O in the concept section for that.
