Is there any log file left in the working directory? JGR usually
leaves something after a crash.

did you ever find a fix for this problem? I'm having the same one.
Thanks,

Hi,
I'm new to R and I've spotted what I think it might be a small issue
when rendering on a Quartz device. All images are initially cut on
their lower side. Once you resize the Quartz window, the image is
correctly displayed, even if you resize it to the original size.
E.g. I do: curve(dnorm,
I downloaded and installed
R version 2.10.0 RC (2009-10-20 r50178)
I am not experiencing the problems described earlier on this list, so
they seem to be fixed.
Help works, and updating packages from the GUI works.
I only wonder why R64.app binary and R.app have a

Hi there A.R.,
I'll confirm that this happens in R 2.8.x and 2.9.x versions on OS X 10.5, but
it surely must be a well known issue. My students ask me about it all the time,
and I just encourage them to resize their windows when they notice the problem,
and that is a temporary fix.

Hi,
I have found a number of earlier JGRError.log files, but no new ones
since the installation.

Dear Steve,
I'm using R 2.9.2, but I've noticed this problem too, since I began using R last
year (i.e., maybe since R 2.7). I am using the R.app when I see this issue. I
just tell my students that it's a minor bug and we won't worry too much about
it.

Are you running SnowLeopard?
