He was having breathing problems and our son took him to the vet. They gave him oxygen and medication for pain. However, they said it would be very expensive for tests and X-rays, and the treatment may not even work because of his age and condition. We will miss him. very much. So sorry to hear about Sam's sudden passing. He is looking down on you and George and I know he doesn't want you to be sad. I know our boys will someday in the near future be joining him because both Ira and Ross are 12-years-old which in itself is old for a lab.
