i get better results using the 3com drivers, athough i had to compile them.

i wasnt using redhat, but was using a single floppy disk
distribution called freesco . www.freesco.org
i tried to research it then, and was pointed to turning off ppp compression,
but i wasnt using ppp.
i dont see it anymore since i started using
i was concerned about collisions on my own small network.
i replaced my hub with a switch.
the collisions stopped,or really dropped off.
my throughput didnt really improve much :(
