I have an Astron RS-35A power supply that has decided to stop working.
All is well, except for the fact that there is no output from the output
terminals. I have checked the UA723 Regulator and it does appear to be
at fault. My question is, is there anything else that I should
checkout? I
Sometimes you get lucky, and it's only the chip; too often you'll be
checking individual pieces-parts. Those pass xstrs can be a real pain.
Suggestion: put that new chip in a socket -- makes it lots easier the
next time.
Test fixture: swipe a headlamp or two from, say, the XYL's car... 8-)
