have EAC do FLAC to one directory AND 128k VBR mp3 to another directory for your ipod. I've seen a ripping machine, used by one of the commercial ripping services, that holds 100 cd's at a time. Might be worth a look on ebay :) -- Skunk

Maybe you need a 'copy stand'. Photogs use it to copy photos and create slides. It's a tripod with microadjustments for focusing, over a board that's lighted from all sides. The lights can be diffused for less glare. HTH -- Skunk

it from drive options, so EAC doesn't pay attention to it. If you find your cd ROM caches data, you want to CHECK that box to disable it :) EAC will report sometimes that the drive does not cache when in fact it does. There are even external apps (Fueirio?) that truly check this. -- Skunk

get 100% rip quality copy OK, you can switch to paranoid mode and try again. I just tried five modes on a problem track and paranoid is the only one to satisfy accurate rip, even though a few modes gave 100% copy OK. YMMV -- Skunk

in the Program Files\Exact Audio Copy directory? If so, inserting one of the AR key discs should calculate a drive offset automatically, which may be the whole problem. When configured correctly the accurateRip dialogue should come up after the error dialog in EAC. -- Skunk
