to one directory AND 128k VBR mp3 to another directory for your ipod.
I've seen a ripping machine, used by one of the commercial ripping
services, that holds 100 cd's at a time. Might be worth a look on ebay

Maybe you need a 'copy stand'. Photogs use it to copy photos and create
slides. It's a tripod with microadjustments for focusing, over a board
that's lighted from all sides. The lights can be diffused for less

If you find your cd ROM caches data, you want to CHECK that box to
disable it :) EAC will report sometimes that the drive does not cache
when in fact it does. There are even external apps (Fueirio?) that
truly check this.

hundred tracks worth of false starts and recording session banter. I
love having all that available, but it doesn't usually work well in
random mode.

to answer your Q, you need a large cardboard box and an
out-of-the-way place to archive all your ripped cd's.
If you don't like taking the moral high road, you can think of it as a
backup in case your disks fail :-)

track and paranoid is the only one to satisfy accurate rip, even though

When configured correctly the accurateRip dialogue should come up after
the error dialog in EAC.
