there network configuration gets disturb. It removes the static ip from the
ethernet card and make a backup copy of the ethernet cad.

Hi list,
I don't think this is the right place to post this to but I couldn't find any
bug tracker for SL. Please read through the following report and point me to
the right direction.
I have recently installed the gnuplot42 package from a mirrored sl5 repository
but am having a problem

you have enough RAM, but needs some time to load the LiveCD/DVD
Has anyone here compiled gnuplot from source? Does anyone use
libgd, used by gnuplot to make .png files?
With www.libgd.org down (and unattended to since 2007), I'm
worried that these tools will start to suffer from dependency
rot. I hope to compile some static versions. The problems
Since you have rsync, I assume you have the rsync rpm, in which case
you can use 'man rsync' to see about running rsync as a daemon. Use
'man rsyncd.conf' for further information about setting it up. You can
also try googling rsync server. In any case, not only does a server for
rsync
