Hannibal and his march on Rome by David Anthony Durham (Acacia). I am
reading The Maytrees, a small jewel of a novel by Anne Dillard. I am

Thanks. I just finished The Historian. I thought that it would be
a candidate, but I finished it yesterday. I guess that it must be
good. I read over 300 pages in one day in order to finish it.

trip this summer. now i'm reading Zahrah the Windfollower, which is young

(sequel) after it. both are awesome.How is black rose? coming back

black rose is good. its not sci fi. its a novel based on madam cj walkers life.
many blacks today look down on her because she made it widespread for black
women to straighten their hair more efficiently. they say that's self hate.
