It pretty much does, but at 5 to 20 PPM, it can take a bit of time for the silver to FIND a bacterium to kill. 5 PPM does as well as 20 PPM, just slower at the same on contact kill time. Most of the CS is water that won't kill anything, but allows the silver in it to move around. 'Seek
