I've been in touch with Larry about this and it does appear to be, 1)

As we have discussed before, it is the price. Macs just cost so much
more (around 3 times more last I looked)

The reason why the attackers don't bother with mac. Is that thier world
sales are so small its not worth the bother. They'd rather go where they can
