Is there a difference between surface structure and the rest of the bottle

It took a while to soak in and it takes a while soak out.
Clay slurry might do something.

Right.
Glass isn't as waterproof as we think it is and just like oil will
migrate

You'd have to search for scientific proof
Right.
Glass isn't as waterproof as we think it is and just like oil will
migrate though cast iron, various things will migrate through glass in
either direction.

Dear Ode, Any scientific proof of common household items migrating through

It's not that the glass absorbs ions, but that it releases contaminants
that react with ions.
Vinegar and ionic silver forms Silver Acetate which is actually more
soluble in water than plain silver ions and shouldn't be a big problem, but
whatever else that's in Kim Chee could be.

There is variation in pickle jars. Some you clean out w soap and water and
they don't smell. Some keep smelling. The ones that keep smelling have
obviously absorbed ions from the pickles, olives or spaghetti sauce they
once held. These ions will mess with your colloidal silver making. Ohyou

Local Hardware sells mason jars each, they break up cases.. Very nice..
Check smaller, mom and pop stores. I'm going to get another batch

i use baking soda to clean glass jars. i wash and rinse very well, sprinkle
baking soda in both the jar and the lid then let them set for several days.
rinse very well and IF there is any remaining odor i repeat the above process.
this has always worked well for me.

All I did was run pickle jars through dishwasher a couple of times, no
problems.
I have several jars, no problems.
I even used old milk jugs for distilled water (I have a distiller).
Old milk jugs it is hard to get milk out of, I put water and 8 ounces

It is said that pickle jars are no good because they absorb ions throwing

The story goes that if you want high uS you can't use a former pickle jar.
In virgin glass one gallon jar maybe you would get higher uS colloidal
silver. As far as kim-chi we get the wimpy version in America.
