I recently purchased one on ebay because it was a good price and came with 7 electrodes. It was sold for Professional Use which was another reason I purchased it. When it arrived there was a sheet of paper enclosed that had the warning to only use it for 10 minutes and then to let it cool

I have an 'Energex' system from the 1920's or so that I got at an Estate sale. I had intended to resell it at a profit, but my son LOVED the thing and so I demurred.  I once had a headache with a hot spot on my forehead and applied it to that spot.  To my surprise the headache did go away

Hopefully, you don't smoke as the DMSO will transfer nicotine deeper into the lungs and into the bloodstream possibly causing an overdose of nicotine from what I've heard. I have used a 2% mixture of DMSO without it causing any noticeable side effects. I have great results whenever I nebulize

I have a handheld model and they seem to last about a year or so. I notice a slight energizing effect and relaxing at the same time. The table top model may last a little longer because of better heat dissipation:
