My older Berg 6 channel receivers had a soldered jumper to select either channel 7 or channel 5 as the channel 5 output. To switch from channel 7 to channel 5 simply unsolder from the channel 7 side and resolder to the channel 5 side. The actual jumper is a zero ohm surface mount resister.
