Your old D70 was crap compared to my new Nikon D50
But you battery was a killer boost for my photos when I ran out...
Just kidding! Both are super.
I have not set myself into the difference in the D70 compared to the D50.
The D50 feels better in my hand though. I think they have done some small

I like the Hitec Flash radios; a Flash 4 is pretty cheap now, and they
do basic mixing and can store multiple planes. Might be nice to have
the 5, too - would have a little more growth potential before having to
move up to a more pricey radio.
You could also do their Neon, but it really doesn't
Welcome to the wonderful world of Webmastering ... nice job, Dave!
And speaking of nice jobs, Dave has finished a number of models for me
and I can't say enough about the quality ... an AvA, couple of Icons,
electric Escape ... all have been flawless.

Hi Norm,
I think either the Hitec Laser 4 or the Flash 5 make great starter radios.
The laser 4 is a standard, non-computer radio and runs about $60 for the
tranny. The Flash 5 is a nice computer radio, but runs about $110 for the
tranny.
Haven't seen you in about 25 years. My wife and I
You guys already hit one of my favorites - one of the three channel
radios (Futaba or Hitec are the ones I know). Things that are useful
include V-tail coupling, servo reversing, FM on something other than the
27MHz band (for flying), double tuned receiver and NiCd batteries. The

Hilaunch has the best hinge tape, thin no stretch and takes a back hoe to
get it loose from the surfaces, clear too.
Nothing better for rudder hinges or wing surfaces, great for hatch cover
hinges too.
Best Wing Tape goes to Planes Wings and Thingsif you can get in touch
with him.
Hi Guys,
Tony is hot to carve some slope air and I guess I could be convinced to
shoot out there too.
Any one else in for tomorrow?

Dave,
Looks like a nice sander. I get a lot of mileage from my Dremel, first with
a cut off wheel to open things up, then with the 3/8 sanding drum to round
into the corners.

I use a JR6102 for slope and park flyers. Nice package and 10 model memories
and digital trims with a decent amount of programmability. It's not going to
do your 6-servo sailplane, but for anything less, it works just fine.
I have it in some models with flapperons, flying wings, and electrics.

Norm,
I've been using a JR 6102 for more than a year and really like it. It has
been used primarily with electric powered models. It's nice to have multiple
model memory so that trim settings and servo direction will be stored for
each model.
