Can anyone help?
I need to get information to the RCSE list manager. I have my own DSN name
and use that name/(email address) as my return address when I send email.
Mail that is sent to that address is then forwarded from my DSN provider to
my Internet provider (IP) where I retrieve the mail.
For this season's GordySoar contest phrase to be most heard on the field

First , thank you for the photos and videos.
I so wanted to be there at the SWC and Visalia this season.
Had it on my calendar, but life got in the way as I stayed with my 48 year
old Aunt in Peoria,IL from Oct. to Dec. 8 when she was taken from us by
cancer. She was diagnosed Late Sept. I
I've got to echo Larry's statements here; the CASL guys did a great job
making this contest go. The winches were flawless all weekend (I think
there were maybe 3 line breaks after over 1000 launches), with plenty of
power, so props to Rick Bothel and everyone running the winches and
retrievers.

but she told me her life has been so good that she would not change a
thing. Though she has taught me so much when I was a kid, I've learned even
much more in the last few months from her.
I'm pleased to announce that the League of Silent Flight (LSF) has again
stepped up bigtime to support our US F3J soaring team!!! I just received a
nice check that will help us greatly in our fund raising efforts. This is a
big deal for a self sustaining non-profit group to contribute to our well
Just wanted to clarify Gordy's comments about the use of multiple receivers
within the Spektrum system. It's a function of the shorter wavelength (higher
frequency). With a single receiver there is the potential for a secondary
signal, reflected from structure/object within the model, to arrive
And finally...well not finally cuz its still early in this game...2.4 news.
I flew 2.4 in my Marauder and a handful of guys flew various brands in their
2.4 friendly RES and Open ships. It does work if you apply those little
gray cells when installing.
I had a really good chat with
Did I mention that I took first place in Woody Class this weekend? Guess
I'm a little forgetful sitting here basking in the after-glow of that victory
;-)
So forgive me if I repeated that news :-).
What I was pumped about seeing at the SWC was some of the new faces flying
well, and
THE WINCHES...
De tuned with resistors, tricked with thicker line on the ground
sidehindered by retrieve linethey worked great! Even during the
downwind launch
rounds...they had just enough speed to keep the model's moving...and to
provide a fair launch starting height to all.
I flew the whole contest with a Supra that had a 2.4 friendly fuselage with
a 9303 2.4 GHZ and 9 CH receiver. Never had any kind of problem and, like
Gordy, never had to wait for someone to bring back the pin. It was
fantastic. I had tried an XPS system with this configuration previously but
