Thanks to those who responded. The hints helped. A way to get DHCP over bridged interfaces in OpenBSD is to make the bridge but assign an IP number to each interface anyway, not just the first one. dhcpd will squawk about interfaces sharing the same subnet, but will bind to the first one if it

My understanding from some list messages a few months ago, was that Soren had released a USB boot BIOS for the 6501, and was working on a 5501 release. However, due to some issues that cropped up I never saw any details regarding the new 5501 BIOS (which I'm waiting on for my testing Soekris).
