Hi Adrian
try running kick.exe -nodes, or kick.exe -info aaOcean as mentioned in the
email off-list.
you may have an incompatible arnold version. I am guessing you are using
aaocean compiled against a newer api version.
try the 4.2.0.1 version if kick says you are using an incompatible version.
might want to update the demo scenes
sorry, my bad. I'll update the demo scenes.

Hi Francisco
Peter's suggestion is on point -- give that a go to find out if you are
missing any dll's
Also, check the Plugin Manager and see if aaOceanDataShader is showing up
there or not. That will help with finding if it is a shaderDef issue, or an
actual shader issue

Hi Tony,
From what I recall, a lens shader is added to your pass setup once you add
physical sky/sun. The lens shader scales down the super-bright sky values
to 'display-able' values. The incidence shader is not going to black, just
getting scaled down massively.
Try disconnecting the lens shader

Hi Adam,
I am not aware of any plugin that generates polygon density based on camera
distance. It is something that I have often wanted to do with my ocean
setups, but never spent the time to come up with a procedural method. Doing
this in ICE *should* be possible ( i have never tried it), and
the camera as the line of

any area because they are not physically correct.
