I returned to the free (1.1) version of ImplosiaFX. I think that Boolean is so
important, and I think Softimage should buy this awesome ubercool etc tool to
include it in regular Softimage.

Having delt with this before myself:
a) you have to get rid of the virus, malware, etc.
b) confirm with Google Webmaster that you've removed it and have their
spider crawl your site again
a and b can take a good long while to get done in some cases.
Yip, I think the guys saw this a few days ago and are already fixing
it. but as Eric said it takes a while :\

I need to store a vairable created by a plugin and then access it later

variables in the plugin's UserData. Is there something like this say

Or any other ideas?

Is it possible to create a PyQt dialog within one plugin and then later

A quick and dirty one would be to create a custom parameter.

Hi list,
The problem with xsibase has been fixed. The site still needs to be
re-indexed with google so you will still get warnings for the time being.
Please excuse the delay,

Ww! This looks super useful, and I've been
wanting to do this kind of thing many times before. Particularly the Find
in Array has made me use Repeat loops way too often.

Hi Szabolcs,
I just re-downloaded the released version of ImplosiaFX (which was released
back in February), installed it fresh and then created a sphere and a
cylinder mesh in Softimage 2013 and then applied the IFX boolean operation
and it worked immediately without error.

Hey Chris,
Here's an oversimplification, if it helps you or others visualize it better:
1. For every point on the source mesh, find the closest triangle our
target's mesh our point fits in -- a quad has 2 triangles, of course, so
one of them.
2. Imagine that triangle's edges are

You can access a plugin's UserData from outside of the plugin, even from

I do think there is an opportunity for just a Boolean tool priced somewhere
