Hey guys,
Just asking since I heard in the posts about openvdb, I did some
research and find the houdini openvdb files on the site that Rob mention.
Someone know if it is tough to install the openvdb format in Houdini or

Hi Holger,
It's weird about the afterworks contact, I sent an email in march 2012

If you have Icecache, try to delete them. It happened to me last year,
the cache on file node tried to read caches when the scn loaded. After
icecaches was deleted, the scn reopen correctly...
Just an idea like that, if you have ice cache...

At the moment, I'm able to smooth(average) one position in the

Hello list,
I'm playing with the Tim feather compound and try to extrude the strands
as flat grid. When I set the Base shape to sphere and sides to 2. It
still give me a 2 sided shape( a grid with thickness)...
Someone know how to modify the compound to get grids instead of cylinder
Thx Vincent!
I know my explanation wasn't clear, but it's exactly what I was trying
to do.

Hey valter,
The way you make the selection to apply the map is important. Try selecting the
constraint and the weightmap in the explorer with ctrl and try to set the map
after this. Maybe it's the inverse, select the map and the csn. I always forget.
Good luck

Thx Chris for the answer. I'm not good with point array so I think I'll
go for a more pin and mimic way :)
Thx guillaume I'll check what I can do with that :).
