Hi,
I have a Sun Ray Server on the subnet 192.168.1.0 / 255.255.255.0, and
I need to use a Sun Ray DTU on a different subnet 192.168.4.0 /
255.255.255.0 with a different DHCP server of the SRS, or at home
through internet.
What do I need to configure on the Sun Ray Server for that?

Hello SunRay-Users,
Does anybody use utresadm regularly? My junior admin asked that
when he plugged a Sun Ray DTU to another monitor with different
capabilities (i.e. Max HZ at the same resolution), he tried to
use utresadm to assign a different default resolution to the DTU.
It seems that
Dominik,
Have you tried a type 6 keyboard or a standard (non swiss german)
keyboard. You might want to open a case with Sun, in case its a known
bug.
Good Luck

Hello William,
True. Finally got to our DTUs and checked myself. I guess the
youngster's hands are "curly"...
Running utresadm and killing the session (via CtrlAltBackspace)
does indeed change the video frequency (85 to 60 and back again).
Also checked: pulling the plug on the DTU does
Hi Bob,
I can't say anything specific to your hardware but we Cisco PIX515 and
we had to lower the encryption value to the AES default which was, I
believe, LESS than 256 bits, maybe 128 or 64 bits. Not sure if that
will help but we only arrived at this by trial and error.

Jim
You picked the one EZ-VPN Server that I think we are having problems
with... :(
This was brought up internally here at Sun a little while back. I'll
check and see if there are any updates.[

Hello all,
I have a follow-up question regarding the VPN GUI firmware. I have a Cisco
851 running the EZ-VPN Server. I am able to establish a connection using
the Cisco Soft-client, but when I attempt to make a connection with the
Sunray VPN firmware, it hangs on

Jim,
You should be able to use the utsession command to identify and terminate only
a specific session (which should then automatically restart with the correct
resolution). See the man pages on specific options.

Hi everbody!
I was running SRSS 4.0 with 127553-01 on Solaris 10U2 X86. Attached are some
Sunray1 with type 7 keyboard (swiss german). Everything was running fine until
I upgraded the server to Solaris 10 Update 4 using the Solaris upgrade
function. Since then,
What's an 851? I've never heard of it. We *have* had problems with the
*831* being used as a gateway. As far as I'm aware, we never suggested
that an EzVPN *client* device could be used as a gateway.
