seem to be there also, but if not they will most likely mail order
stuff like scales. They have sulfuric acids and the hydroxides

already gotten some from them
Yup! Grolsch available in most big grocery stores (in Quebec anyway,

every so often the Euro has a good day and the price jumps so I
digress to a local brand, which according to the organic farmer we
deal with, is a pretty

Hello,
I've often heard it said that small scale biodiesel production is
more efficient than large scale production, or, in other words,
biodiesel production has diseconomies of scale. I'm trying to find
some documentation of this. Does anyone know of any resources that
investigate this

It was just a 1 litre batch, here's how I went about it:

Thanks. It doesn't hurt to ask them about shipping to the US. I'll
send them an e-mail.

Julian,
Yours is a very broad parameter.
Perhaps what would serve best to start is to establish What it is that can
best be achieved with each scale and are those achievements in line with
sound economics?

Thanks to Keith and several readers for helping me along in biodiesel

I've gotten quite a flurry of off-list interest from people in other

Pierre,
We've seen a similar type of result before, but not when working
with a 100% SVO. In that case it was an oil that was rich in animal
tallow. The white layer was unconverted fats.
If you want to figure out what that center layer is and what
happened, I'd suggest a couple of things.
Does anyone know why the vehicles listed on the JTF website under Do diesels
have a future? http://www.journeytoforever.org/biodiesel_future.html aren't
available in the USA? I have looked at them numerous times now, and if those
vehicles are getting 70 to 240 MPG why aren't they being sold.

When I was in high school, one of my shop teachers owned a pair of
12 cylinder Jaguars. Originally from South Africa, he went to England
during WW2 and served as an RAF fighter plane mechanic. He NEVER
changed the oil in his machines.
The additive package depletes/wears out. If you could restore the
sdditives and filtered the oil well the only other problem is
dilution/contamination with crankcase blowby. I have never run oil a
long time so I don't know if the rumor there is mechanical cracking
of long chain molecules is
Hi Keith,
It may be that there is some kind of economy and people may trade off, but
it appears to be totally family oriented. Since our closest family is 3000
miles away, we don't have anyone to trade with. We are slowly finding
people, but mostly it is teaching how to weatherproof a house

We have two pictures painted for us. One by you, of a woman who just
let things go and it didn't work out. Robert tells us the story of a
man who carefully filtered and stayed on top of the oil that was in
there. That seemed to work out for him.
So, I wonder if the answer is, maybe, that it
