hey ray, i produce bio diesel here in vancouver and have found a few different places that sell methanol and lye. a company called UNIVAR supplies both products out here for the larger amounts but when i was first starting i didn't need a 55 gallon drum and a 1kg bag so i found a smaller place

hey y'all have been reading lots but not writing as much thanks for all the valuable info. i just did a 40 gallon batch and added a bit too lye to the reaction and am wondering if the excess lye will wash out with the rest of it in the bubble wash stage. please help if you can. vincent
