Andreas,
Do you use ArcGIS to interact with SDE? If so it is no difference to convert
a shapefile or a SDE file. Otherwise it is not so easy or not at all
practicable because SDE writes ist information in several tables, the
structure of these handling is not known in detail.

All Mozilla browsers still have problems with ASV 3. My experience is, that
they display the SVG correctly, but if you want to change the URL in the
window where the SVG is diplayed or you want to close this window then the
browser crashs.

Just wondering if someone else has problems with Firefox 1.0.4 and ASV 6?
I have tested ASV6 with some SVG file, all of them are not displayed. With
firefox 1.0.3 all of these SVG files are ok.

There is a mistake in your comment.
Adobe SVG Viewer (ASV) current release is 3.03 and ASV 3.x supports SVG 1.1.

Hi,
You must work with ArcMap to see your undelying feature. You have two
possibilities:
1. use transparency for all features
2. use no color for all features
To have a highlighting be sure that you have set Highlighting=true in the
settings.ini of MapViewSVG
Just wondering why you do not ask
Memeharum,
If you use ArcView or ArcGIS you can also give MapViewSVG

Sean,
you have to put your embed tag into an external svg file, then you do not
have to activate the ActiveX
For example
in you html:
embedHead();
in an external javascript:
function embedHead() {
document.write('embed type=image/svg+xml name=head
src=embfiles/head.svgz width=765px

i can give you a tip for opening SVG directly.
The problem is the setting Allow active content to run files on My

Hi,
at the moment i have a big problem with RTL languages like arabic and SVG.
An arabic text looks different in different browsers.
At http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2004/05/12/svg.html?page=3 there is an arababic

This looks like correct in Opera, Safari and Chrome. It is not correct
In the past we had massive problems in using rtl languages (expl arabic)

So I want to ask the browser guys and the users of rtl languages here in the
list if there is any change with the newest browser versions?
Thanks
