Actually, the 2.23 (7-3 3/4) wasn't a meet record for Mike. Eric Bishop of Murray City HS in Chatsworth, Ga., set the mark of 2.24 (7-4 1/4) back in 1994. It was Mike's 25th career high school clearance of 7-0 or better. Don't know if anybody keeps track of these things, but has any prep ever had
