Non necessariamente: trunk è una strada con limitazioni di tipo
autostradale (quelli elencati da Martin), pur non essendo un'autostrada.
Come ci sono autostrade a 4 corsie con 150 km/h di limite e altre a 2
corsie (forse 1) in cui non si va
...una risorsa interessante per i mappatori sprovvisti di GPS.

Aggiungo però che se e' vero che la velocità max non è segno di importanza,
implica però che la strada è tecnicamente di un certo livello o tipo.

Anche a Milano sulle tangenziali, che sono autostrade, c'e` il limite
di velocita` di 90Km/h anziche' 130, ma non passa a filo delle case,
di solito c'e` la corsia d'emergenza e le corsie non sono larghissime,
ma rispettano le norme e

anche essere una extraurbana a scorrimento veloce che porta in luoghi
turistici alle autostrade, e quindi di molta importanza!!!
