own several delivery trucks equipped with GPS. They are willing to
donate GPS traces provided we give them GPS maps (which I do anyway).
Focus areas includes Visayas. Do you think this is a worthwhile data source?

Not entirely sure, but NOAA coastline are too coarse for our level of
mapping. Need to check and verfiy

Yes, too coarse ... it is accurate enough in positioning, but coarse. It is
what I used for waypoints.ph vicinity maps. It has more islands and islets
though than the current OSM coastlines.
