Hi Eric, I've used building=ruins (
Is building completely destroyed (no longer existing)?
Simply delete it or remove building tag and use demolished:building=yes /
not:building=tag,
possibly add also note.
Deleting is fine, but others may remap it from aerial images.

I would look to the lifecycle prefix [1] but I don’t see a tag prefix
