Having used both Thunderbird and The Bat! back and forth, I am missing the feature available in Thunderbird in The Bat! - which is to select text in an email, and right-click to select "Search Google for...". I'd like to stay with The Bat! for so

I created a new address book, created groups under it which mirrored the old
groups, and then copied and pasted the contacts from the old groups to the new
ones.
I was able to create a new group at the correct level.

I haven't been here in a long time, but I'm having a problem with old email
addresses which appear when I begin to address an email.
For example, if I start to write to John Smith, I may get the following choices
in the To: line--

Where do I go to select the addresses? They appear as choices when I'm typing

Display Folder Tabs, and was able to remove them exactly as you suggested.

A friend sent me an email that he asked me to edit and return to him.
When I hit reply, I get his text with a thick blue line to the left, and it's

My main folder, for example, is called Classes.
Under that I have groups called class1, class2, class3, class4, etc.

But I had 6 items in the group and, after unticking the Hide items line,
four of them now do show up in the root list, but two do not.
Does it matter whether I created the item originally in the root list or in the
group list?
