Thanks M. I didn't realize it would be as lengthy as it is but I'll take a look at it and see if I can use it. If you just want a simple batch file to backup the bat registry all you need is, I think: REG EXPORT HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RIT\The Bat! X:\Dropbox\TheData\registry backup.reg

I have used the backup system often; each time I change computers, I backup everything to an external HD, and on the new computer, when installing TB!, I choose install from backup. Has been working flawlessly for many versions. I'm glad you never had a problem with it
