Maybe you should stop using HTML to write e-mail. I just typed in (c) directly in this mail without using any space character and it has stayed the same. Let's see if it survives posting to the mailing list. I never use HTML in e-mail. I also have the same version of The Bat! Pro 10.3.2

The problem with gmail is that changes in May have broken almost every e-mail client. Gmail needs OAUTH. This is supported in Version 10 of The Bat. If you look in the account log for your gmail address , you will see "username and password not accepted" Note "not accepted". That is different

Version 10 works, but you have to jump through some hoops with a web browser when you first add a gmail address to The Bat. Unless you actually need to send from a gmail address, you can fix retrieval of mail at www.gmail.com and forwarding everything (and delete from Google servers afterwards)
