Hello,We have trac 0.9.4 running on Win2003 and it is generally running well.We have however a problem with one user not showing up in the assign to dropdown list and I've been unable to find this in the mailing archieves.
The priviliges for all users are the same (added to the same developer

Hi,
Me again. Is 0.10dev in the trunk. I don't see a branch for that? Can
I just do an svn co for it?
Thanks,

Very cool. There are several files like that but otherwise it seems to
apply cleanly.

Yep, it's the trunk:

Ask him to fill in his details (real name for exemple) in the Settings page.
To appear in the dropdown list, a user session entry should be created
in the DB, and this entry is created on the first change action made
on Trac: editing the details, for example.

I'm (privately, via email) trying to sell Guido (Python BDFL) on the
use of Trac vs. Roundup for future Python development (e.g., Python
3000).
How would I make the case to him?
The main advantage I would see in Trac is it's excellent Subversion
integration, which is not really built-in
First off, let me say that I love Trac. It's been a huge help to my
development group. However, I'm not sure I would want to make the
argument of Trac over Roundup. I've been a big fan of Roundup since way
back, and I would love to see it get the kind of momentum that you mention

--email notification, especially the nosy list
I find that Trac's email notification never works quite the way I want
it to. Either I turn on the always_notify_x switches and get too many
emails or I turn it off and get too few. Roundup's nosy list concept is
simple, intuitive, and very
Excellent response!
Yes, I'd love to see RoundUp's 'nosy' feature make it into Trac as well.

As I said, I'm a big fan of Roundup's concept of the nosy list. Basically
it's a list of email addresses to be notified about changes to a ticket.
Whenever a user makes any change to a ticket, they are automatically added
to the nosy list. Essentially, if you express a stake in a ticket, you
Yes I'd agree with this - as a former roundup user, the nosy list makes
sense and is very clear to all users what's going on.
In our newly installed trac envs we're having trouble working out who
gets notified when (in particular when comments are added to tickets it
appears as if noone's
Hi all,
This is a mail in two parts. Firstly, a request that anybody using
workflow [1] update to the latest version to test the new unified ticket
module (see below for more info). There are still a few kinks to work
out and testers would be invaluable. If you have inserted custom ticket

Hi,
As a taste of what is possible with the new code, I've updated the
tracticketmojo plugin [1] to the new API.
This plugin implements three components, the first of which adds a
'delete ticket' action (which doesn't actually delete - proof of
concept).
The second component adds a 'progress'
