I brought my laptop to let the seller check if it has any problem. Without
doing any good they blessed me by shutting it off by pressing the shutdown
button to terminate it quickly.And this has just brought a hell for my
Ubuntu's X-server.
It wasn't even loading to gui at first.

Once you reconfigured your x-server, can you go and manually check if you have
vesa as your default video controller in /etc/X11/xorg.conf file? If no, then
make it vesa and also if possible can you post your xorg.conf file? Also few
questionnaires:
