I can confirm this bug, I see this exact behavior on a brand new Feisty

I've experienced this as well, when switching using the tasklist applet in the
panel. Alt- tab usually works fine.

I don't know if this is relevant, but I am running VMWare-Server on this
host -- which I know creates virtual network interfaces (vmnet1 and

About the 100% processor usage, I sometimes have also that problem. I
have only Firefox, Thunderbird and Rythmbox(playing) on. I think the
priority should be higher, I couldn't install it with the livecd, and
after I installed it with the alternate CD I had to remove powernowd in
the recovery mode

I've just done a restart and recorded the logs for the entire procedure.
When I log in, the first thing that pops up is the keyring dialog asking
for the keyring password. I started iwevent in a console (so every event
that came up before this doesn't appear), then:
