It seems to me that the problem has been fixed. The issue didn't occur
on every suspend/resume however, so I can't say I'm 100% sure, but it

I think I have the same issue, Gutsy's fonts look more blurry than
Feisty's. Changing Smoothing from 'Subpixel (LCDs)' to 'Grayscale' in
the Font Rendering Details makes it better though.

I have the same problem on an Ati Mobility Radeon X700 graphics card.
This is a regression from Gutsy beta where usplash worked fine.

Msttcorefonts downloads the fonts from the Sourceforge servers but seems
to ignore the proxy settings (according to bug #56880). If you are

Can this be fixed before Gutsy final? In my opinion it's very confusing
for users since Tracker is integrated nearly everywhere in the desktop
(Nautilus, gtk file-open dialog etc.) except where I would suspect it
is, namely Places Search for files. I suggest placing the Tracker
