I have same problem - but I have NO SOUND if my HP ProBook 4510s is on
the batteries. This was fix problem, THANK YOU Reiner ;-)

Yes, I have problem with it too. My temporary solution is:
sudo setpci -s 00:02.0 F4.B=xx
where 00:02.0 is my device (maybe works for you too) and xx is value in
hex from 0 to ff - it works fine for me
I am create short script for console and for gui too, and create alias
to ~/.bashrc for run

This crash is every time, if I try to play multimedia with Gmote (in
notebook is Gmote Server, for my Gmote client on my HTC Desire - android
phone). In Ubutnu 10.04 it works properly. Gmote is usable only like
touchpad.
