I am not very experienced with Linux (Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron) so my
understanding is limited. But I have tried again and again to install Adobe
Flash Player (10.0.42.34) with no luck. I get a message saying that Flash is
already installed. YET... I cannot view flash content in Firefox
Success, but I don't know how. I don't think I did anything different
than I did before. 3 tries downloading deb package and installing
directly. Then 4 tries using instructions I found on the following site:

I have the same problem. I have tried to download the .deb and that
doesn't work either!

Flash does not run in Firefox and plugin installer pops up. When using
the plugin installer, installer advises that Flash is already installed
however flash still not working.
Situation resolved after going to Adobe's
how to resolve this issue. I donot have any knowledge about linux, firs
