Okay, I just returned from the army, where I was last year (I'm from Russia).
So, I install Elementary OS 0.2 Luna 64bit, and rtl8187b chipset works great,
on full speed, without any lag!

reported a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were
wondering if this is still an issue? Can you try with the latest development
release of Ubuntu? ISO CD images are available from

But there is no official realtek linux drivers for 8187B.

If it is like RTL8187L you need to install drivers because Linux takes
the 8187 generic driver and it does not work properly. Please, download
the driver from here:
As a workaround please put into your
/etc/rc.local
this row
iwconfig wlan0 rate 5.5M
before the
exit 0
and reboot the system
