Public bug reported:
TEST: using SIP-COMMUNICATOR build 1864
with kernel 2.6.27-11-generic, as SIP-COMMUNICATOR loads into memory, it
searches for a video device which causes the Webcam LED to flash quickly.
Later under options, clicking on the media tab will activate the Webcam and

I think the problem is with HAL.
Starting from a typical system state, I inserted a store-bought DVD, and
then recorded the following:
r...@andrew-laptop# df -h
FilesystemSize Used Avail Use% Mounted on
/dev/sda5 148G 120G 22G 85% /
tmpfs1012M 0
This does not match the SRU criteria, is not a regression, not a totally
unreasonable behaviour, and is a pretty intrusive patch which is not
guaranteed to be regression free on all the hardware out there. Please
get this fixed in karmic and upstream instead. Thanks!

I don't know if it's related, but I'm also having problems with the
latest firefox and firebug. Firefox seems to work OK, but in firebug if
I disable a bit of css and then try to re-enable it, a chunk of the css
dissapears, including the bit I was experimenting with.

Yes, it looks to be a dupe - thanks.
I've applied the fix from
http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-1110957.html (downgrading
the RT2860 driver to version 1.7.1.1) and now I have WPA2-Enterprise

Ok, the libical recompilation still works, I'll stick with that
workaround for now.
