I can also confirm very choppy fullscreen flash playback and that the
fix provided in the original bug report works.

This happened to me with too on my laptop.
I assume this happens to all those people who have this Intel card and
have touched their xorg.conf. In my case it was altered automatically by
Ubuntu when using my external monitor, because the screen resolution
widget wrote stuff in xorg.conf.
If
The Jaunty beta and release version installed fine from the alternative
install disc, so I am closing this issue. I did not test with the
LiveCD, however. If the devs insist, I will try it and report back.

ixp4xx hwclock command stopped to work since beta release
I have this same problem with a USB-stick containing a LUKS-key.
The problem occurs only with kernel 2.6.28-11-server but not with kernel
2.6.27-11-server both with Ubuntu 9.04 Server Edition. Bothe kernels are
present on same disk.

OK, I have setup the ppa and upgraded the Amarok package.
It is complaining heavily about a few modules at startup (Librivox,
Lyricwiki), probably not related to our case.
And the result is the same, negative.
The sshfs mount is still not declared in HAL, Amarok uses Solid to
detect devices,
I gave this a shot... but really dont know what I'm doing.
I'm guessing the component is libsoup?
And I completely get lost with the patch line... am I using the debdiff info
from bug #313686?
I want to give it a shot.. but could use a little bit more... mental
clarity!

Please remove gnash and swfdec and than install flashplugin-installer. I
am able to get it to work just fine with only flashplugin-installer
installed please see screenshot. Your problem is not in flash it is the
local set ups.
