This problem seems to be fixed with Kernel 2.6.30-rc3 and the packages from the
x update repository (-intel 2.7.0 and so on). Since this changes couldn't be
backported to Jaunty I guess this could be closed.
The default Exa works fine and all the needed changes will be in Karmic.

For other reasons, I completely re-installed 9.04 UNR, formatting the
SSD to ext4. The problem is not occuring now.
Possibly a dupe of 239943 but I didn't monitor CPU usage when I had the
problem so can not confirm. Sorry for the poor information. Fixed for me
now.

Hello all,
I'm not sure whether this is a but or just a configuration problem on my
computer (Ubuntu 9.10).
I've created a shared folder on a remote server that should be
accessible through webdav: by pasting https://mysite.org:2078 but when
doing so, I simply get the answer Could not display

the profile? We are unable to further process this bug as we don't have
the info needed, it is unlikely that we will get the info needed since

wicd does not solve the problem for me. Still the WLAN is not working.
I have installed wicd and removed the network manager package as
requested by ubuntu. Took me some time to realise that one needs to use
the synaptic package administration for that. I also de-installed the
gnome network

Replacing the new group file with the old one worked well (booting from a CD).
The system now works. sudo, mysql, apache, samba all are working again.

I've not tried to access via SSH to my computer when it hangups due to this
probem, but under my experience (I know how a complete crash look like) I would
say that the computer gets completely frozen (i.e, the laptop leds don't react,
the power button doesn't work except if I press it for 4

Oh I found how to fix it.
I try to edit IPv4 Setting Method of my connection

I can confirm this bug. After I upgrading to Jaunty from Intrepid, Smart Pinyin
disappeared from the SCIM menu. Also the Smart Pinyin module has disappeared
IM Engine-Global Setup. Removing (purge) and reinstalling scim-pinyin does
not help.
However I have found a simple workaround:

After the upgrading from 8.10 to 9.04 kdetv stopped recognizing TV tuner.

entering KDE session Phonon displays an error message saying that Intel AC 885
Analog audio does not work but :
(1) it plays the connexion sound,
(2) when testing Intel AC 885 Analog in KDE configuration sitting in first
I am also affected by this bug. I booted Ubuntu 9.04-i386 image from CD. To be
sure the usbdrive is empty i run the following command first:
$ sudo dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/sdc
After dd was finished cleaning the usbdrive I run the tool USB disk
creator and formatted the usbdrive from within the
301 - 400 of 2502 matches
