an ASUS barebone with an Intel video card connected to a Samsung LCD TV.
Hardy worked perfectly but when upgrading to Intrepid Xserver crashed
and the no screens found error appeared in the log.

I'm also having trouble with the suspension after the upgrade from 8.10
to 9.04 (haven't tried hibernation yet, but I'll do it and post back).
I've also tried to make a clean install, and all available updates, but
the problem persists.
I'm running a gateway laptop model MX6448 with AMD Turion
Jordi, unless you have the exact same hardware with the exact same

To clarify Leon's method a little, the terminal with the Xorg.0.log
trace needs to be on the *secondary* screen, and your enter key needs to
be held down while focused on it. In my case, this will trigger the
bug 90% of the time, and I get those invalid input device messages in

In the french version of Evolution :
When a mail isn't wanted, I declare them as pouriels and so they go into the
pouriel folder.
But, after that declaration, all the mails goes to pouriels !!
So, I have to go the this folder and declare them

I honestly think that half of these 'me too' posts are for differnet
problems, when i first reported this, i had no idea what was causing it,
but now it appears that the common symptom is the 'tsc unstable' message
in the kern.log file (or wherever it appears)
so if you do NOT have this message
